Preliminary Exercise First One.

For our next task we have to make a short film this is what we have to do:

Preliminary exercise: Continuity task involving filming and editing a character opening a door, crossing a room and sitting down in a chair opposite another character, with whom she/he then exchanges a couple of lines of dialogue. This task should demonstrate match on action, shot/reverse shot and the 180-degree rule.

I think that my video is ok, but I could improve it, by maybe following the person into the door, getting a close up of her hand opening it, and maybe get a few better shot reverse shots.
I think that it is alright, but next time I make one, I shall make sure I improve it.
In this exercise I decided to dress up as a cat, as did my partner Poppy, we thought it would be nice to add a sence of humour to this short video.
